Unfortunately Julie, side hustles, or whatever they are called today (what day is it?) are always about people wanting/believing they can make money easily and without hard work and commitment!

This attitude is as old as the hills, I can remember, back in my youth, seeing the adverts for "working from home" "make £1000 a week addressing envelopes" small ads, preying on the lazy and vulnerable, and still it goes on today.

There's no such thing as a "quick buck", but I guess people will never learn as such, so there's always people to prey on.

Let's face it, Medium is only successful because it plays that game! The most successful writers clickbate their readers with "easy money from writing" headlines, most blatently lying about their income to trap the naive.

It's a criminal shame, but hey, that's life!
